Description
Dr. Joseph Fougerousse was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. He completed his undergraduate degree at LSU where he earned a B.A. in Biological Sciences, going on to complete his medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
He then completed his residency in urology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham before joining Louisiana Urology. Dr. Fougerousse's professional interests include comprehensive urological care, robotic and laparoscopic surgery, management of genitourinary malignancies, erectile dysfunction, male/female incontinence, medical and surgical management of kidney stones, medical and surgical management of BPH, male infertility, and upper/lower urinary tract reconstruction. He enjoys spending his free time with friends, family, and his two Samoyeds.
Dr. Fougerousse is an avid collegiate and professional sports fan. His hobbies include restoring classic cars, carpentry, and all things LSU.
