Dr. E. Catie Hammond, a native of Clinton, North Carolina, earned her Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech University in 2013 and her Medical Degree from Louisiana State University (LSU) Health and Science Center School of Medicine - New Orleans in 2020. Dr. Hammond completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the LSU Health Center in Baton Rouge in 2024, where she served as Chief Resident in her last year. She joined The Baton Rouge Clinic's Internal Medicine Department in the Summer of 2024. Dr. Hammond is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. She is also a member of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Hammond is married to her husband, Matthew, and together they have 2 children. While not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, good food, and traveling.
