Since 2004, Dr. Elena C. Cucurull has cared for her patients as a member of the Baton Rouge Clinic family of physicians. A native of Catalonia, Spain, Dr. Cucurull attended the University of Barcelona in Spain and earned her M.D. from the University in 1990. She performed residencies in Internal Medicine in Barcelona, Spain from 1991-95 and at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans from 1999-2002. She is a Research Fellow from LSU and earned her Rheumatology fellowship from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2004. Licensed in the state of Louisiana, Dr. Elena C. Cucurull is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and is a member of both the American Medical Association and the Louisiana State Medical Society.
