Description
Dr. Pollet graduated from LSU in 1976 and earned his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1980. He performed his residency in Internal Medicine at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, completing his program in 1983. In 1985, he earned his fellowship in Internal Medicine/Geriatrics and a second fellowship in Rheumatology in 1987 at the University of California-Davis in Sacramento, California. He worked at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge until joining our family of physicians in 1993. Dr. Pollet is licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana and is board certified in Rheumatology and in Internal Medicine. He is Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine with the LSU Health Sciences Center, is a member of the Capital Area Medical Society, holds a Fellowship with the American College of Rheumatology, is head of the Baton Rouge Clinic Rheumatology Department and a member of the Baton Rouge Clinic Osteoporosis Center.
