Dr. Jan B. Wampold graduated with her Bachelor's Degree from Louisiana State University (LSU) in 1979, she completed her Medical Degree from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1984. Dr. Wampold performed her Internal Medicine residency at Emory University in Atlanta from 1984 - 1987, and then performed her residency in Dermatology through LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, completing the program in 1991. Dr. Wampold joined The Baton Rouge Clinic's Dermatology Department in the Summer of 1991. Licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana, Dr. Jan B. Wampold is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Dermatology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She holds memberships in the East Baton Rouge Parish Medical Society, the Louisiana State Medical Society, the Louisiana Dermatological Society, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
