Koteswara Pothineni, MD is Board Certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, cardiac CT and nuclear cardiology. Procedures he often performs include right and left heart catheterizations, abdominal aortograms with run off and peripheral angioplasty/atherectomy, dual chamber permanent pacemaker, transesophageal echocardiograms, temporary pacemaker placements, and intra-aortic balloon pump placements. Dr. Pothineni received his bachelor's in medicine and bachelor's in surgery from Andhra Medical College, then his Doctor of Medicine from Temple University/Conemaugh Valley Hospital. He completed four fellowships, two at the University of Birmingham & two at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
