Christopher M Funes, MD

Description

A native of Baton Rouge, Dr. Funes is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his post-graduate training at Baylor College of Medicine in the Affiliated Hospitals Pediatric Residency Program, during which time he served as the Ben Taub Hospital Neonatology Chief Resident. As a medical student, he was awarded the Herbert Rothschild Award as the outstanding pediatric medical student in his class. Dr. Funes became a pediatrician because he wanted to become a part of families' lives and help them raise their children to be moral, responsible, compassionate, productive adults. Dr. Funes is fluent in Spanish.
